“POWERED BY SPOT!”
Whenever possible – whether training or competing – we like to share our experiences through pictures, videos, blogging and now SPOT! Using the automatic reporting and the manual “OK”, SPOT automatically uploads our position with the coordinates and time of the check-in. This is automatically sent to our personalized GOOGLE Earth page and here friends and family can easily check in on you 24/7.
As a safety measure, not enough can be said about the ability of SPOT to notify the local 911 or SAR officials when I am MILES from nowhere… Like they say “Live to tell about it!”
