Richard Wygand Ironman Triathlete Triathlon/ Road Biking Coach
Richard Wygand studied athletic training in Brazil and started competing in triathlons in 2004. His first race was a Half Ironman. Within 4 years of his first triathlon, he competed in four Ironman-distance triathlons (two as a professional athlete); eight half Ironman distance races, two marathons, four half marathons, two Olympic distance triathlons, six sprint distance triathlons, and four duathlons.
Since Richard started working as a coach in 2005, he loves to see his athletes get results and feel good. Richard loves everything related to athletic training and improvement. He coaches athletes of all levels – beginner to pro. Richard is a very dedicated coach and athlete. He believes with discipline, anything in life is possible – 99% is hard work and 1% is talent.
