Nate Knowles got his introduction to mountain bike racing 3 years ago with his Dad’s race team, Bosch/Norway Cycles. He participated in the kids races at WORS and started riding local trails with his Dad at 6 yrs of age. Last year marked Nate’s first year as a competitive cyclist at age 8 in the Wisconsin Off-Road Race Series. In his first three races, Nate finished first, and competed in and finished the 8 mile novice loop at the Palos Meltdown.  As a 9 year old, Nate has been a consistent podium qualilfier in the WORS MTB competitions.

 

His goal in 2010 is to compete and finish the entire WORS series and to continue his education in the world of competitive endurance sports.  Nate has a competitive spirit but is quickly learning that competition is more then just winning and that true support is indeed a team effort.

 

He shares his love of riding with his Mom and Dad, as well as his twin 4 year old brothers, Will and Colin.
