Karl is a former collegiate soccer player who also raced mountain bikes while in school. Additionally, to demonstrate his multidisciplinary ability, he excelled as a Jr. Olympic Alpine Ski Racer. Karl has earned the classification as a Cat 3 road bike competitor and excels on the trails as mountain biker within the Expert class. He won 1st place in the 2009 Illinois Criterium Championship and took 4th place 2009 Illinois RR Championship. He is the proud 35 year old father of two boys: Thomas and Andrew and is married to Jen. When Karl isn’t tearing it up on the bike, he works as an operations manager for a medical device manufacturer.
