Having played football at various levels for the last 20 years the time came for a new challenge, having met Dave McCabe it was decided that ultra marathon running was to be way forward. To test the human body to it's physical and mental limits seemed the most ideal and rewarding challenge, and what better place to start than the Jungle Marathon - a 6 stage, 222 km endurance race through the jungles of Brazil! Having completed a few short distance races the training has well and truly begun, onwards and upwards.
