Dr. Brandee Waite, MD Sports Medicine University of California, Davis

Dr Brandee Waite attended Stanford University where she received a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in human biology. She completed medical school at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Stanford University Medical Center. Following her residency, Dr Waite joined the faculty at Johns Hopkins Medical Institute for a fellowship in sports medicine.
A contributing author on several musculoskeletal/sports medicine research projects and texts, she is currently an Assistant Proffessor of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of California at Davis.
Dr. Waite has been on the Medical Staff at Racing The Planet since 2005 where she has been a field physician for endurance runners competing in Egypt, Chile, Namibia, China and Antarctica. This unique opportunity has also allowed Dr. Waite the opportunity to be a part of medical studies on endurance athletes conducted in the field.
