Ali Wehbi – The Lebanese Desert Runner
  
A 40 year old Lebanese ultra-marathon runner, father
of 2, passionately trains 6 times a week, he
began his love affair with running 23 years ago, it was not until
he lost his mother to a battle with Cancer that he began to
question his desires and lifestyle, and began his quest to become
an elite athlete in the world’s most difficult races.

Ali was decorated by the President of the Republic of Lebanon, 
"Lebanese Order of Merit" for outstanding acts of courage & acts
of great moral value.

 2008 - North to South Run, traversing the entire Lebanese coast
from the north to the south, 260km.
